AIR Individual Additional Vaccine Indicator Add

The Additional Vaccines Required Indicator enables vaccination providers to add an indicator for an individual who may require further follow up.

For example, if they are:
  1. Indigenous
  2. Managing a chronic health condition

  4. Preterm babies
Acknowledgement text is to be displayed and agreed to by the provider when they are adding an Additional Vaccines Required Indicator .
The AIR Individual Additional Vaccine Indicator Add  is an update Web Service which will process the request and send a response message in real-time.
Following the positive identification of an individual and using their individual identifier, this service will:
  1. Validate the provider’s authorisation to update an Additional Vaccines Required indicator,
  2. Determine if the acknowledgment field is included,
  3. Record the Additional Vaccines Required indicator update, and
  4. Add the Additional Vaccines Required indicator to their immunisation history as recorded on the AIR.
