With the implementation of Medicare web services to access Medicare Online/ECLIPSE, practices had to register B2B devices to access Impulse.
As part of this change, Services Australia require you to extend your B2B device expiry every 150 days.
This extension of the expiry date needs to be completed BEFORE your current expiry date.
Below are the instructions to check you expiry date in Impulse & how to extend your expiry date in PRODA.
Check device expiry date in Impulse
From the main screen of Impulse, go to Setup on the main top menu.
Select Medicare Online & PRODA Settings
Have a look at the expiry date in the box next to Key.
Extending expiry for B2B device in PRODA
In the top right hand corner, select Organisations;
On the next screen, click on your organisation.
On the new screen, find the B2B Devices option and select your device (should be named Impulse)
Click the Extend B2B Device Expiry button
Once you have completed this, you can logout.
