PRODA: Register an Organisation

PRODA: Register an Organisation

Before you can connect to Medicare Online/ECLIPSE/DVA/AIR through web services, you will need to register your organisation in PRODA.

To register as an organisation in PRODA, the organisation must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN).

The only person who is able to register an Organisation is the Associate or Authorised contact, as recorded on the Australian Business Register (ABR). If this contact does not have an individual PRODA account, they can follow these instructions first.

PLEASE NOTE: the name of the authorised contact has to exactly match both in PRODA and the Australian Business Register (ABR).

Step 1

Once you are logged into your individual PRODA account, select Organisations (as shown by the red box below).

Step 2

If you organisation does not appear on this page, select Register New Organisation (as shown by the red box below).

Step 3

Enter in your Organisation Name & ABN, as well a contact email. You will also be required to answer 3 proof of ownership questions (which will be non-publically available information about your organisation as recorded on the ABR.

Step 4

An activation code will be sent to the email address you nominated in step 3. To finalise your registration, you will need to enter this code in the Email code field.
A confirmation email will be sent to this same email address as entered in step 3. This includes your RA number. Please keep this is a safe place.

Once your organisation is setup, you can now add delegates to your organisation.
You will also be able to link a service provider (such as Medicare Online/DVA/ECLIPSE).
You will also be able to add Impulse as a software provider permissioned to access Medicare Online web services to transmit your claims.
