Setup for operating with Medicare Online, Eclipse and AIR PRODA Web Services

 

1.       You must have successfully completed the Impulse Easy Installer on this computer BEFORE performing any of the following steps. Refer to the Impulse User Manual or the MedNet Knowledgebase for Easy Installer instructions

2.       Impulse_PRODA_RTC.exe

2.1.    What is it

This is a slave application that monitors the operation of Impulse_PRODA_Device.exe and through which all Impulse workstation interfaces with Impulse_PRODA_Device.exe. In must run on only one computer in a network where Impulse is installed

2.2.    GUI Installation and Setup

2.2.1.Open Windows Explorer and got to the Impulse installation “bin” folder

2.2.2.Located and run the Impulse_PRODA_RTC.exe application

2.2.3. If the caption of the button (3) is not Listen, then click button (3) until it displays Listen

2.2.4.Change the Server Address (1) and Server Port (2) to be applicable to your specific installation.

2.2.5.Click the Listen button (3)

2.2.5.1.   The settings will be successful when the Listen button (3) caption changes to Stop

2.2.6. Click the Save Settings button (10)

2.2.7.Change the Device IP (4) and Device Port (5) to be applicable to your specific installation.

2.2.8.Click the Start button (9) to start the Impulse_PRODA_Device.exe (see section 3. Impulse_PRODA_Device.exe) and the application in Image 2 will open

2.2.9.Make sure the fields (1) and (2) in Image 1 correspond to the field (2) of Image 2 and strip (13) in Image 1 is Green.

*** IMPORTANT *** do not proceed any further with Section 2 until this condition is met

2.2.10.    Click the Ping button (8) and if successful you will see the notification in (12)

*** IMPORTANT *** do not proceed any further with Section 2 until this condition is met

2.2.11.    Click the Save Settings button (10)

2.2.12.    Click the Install Service button (11)

2.2.12.1. Wait for the Installed Successfully dialog to popup and then click OK

 

Now proceed to complete Section 3 if you have not already done so.

 

3.       Impulse_PRODA_Device.exe

3.1.    What is it

This is a slave application that through which all Impulse workstation interfaces with Medicare Web Services. In must run on only one computer in a network where Impulse is installed

3.1.1.Open Windows Explorer to the Impulse bin folder

3.1.2. Right-click Impulse_Device_RTC.exe

3.1.3. Select Create Shortcut

3.1.4. Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties

3.1.5. Append to the Target entry “ +GUI”

3.1.6. Click Apply

3.1.6.1.              Close the shortcut properties

3.1.6.2.              Run the shortcut and the following window will popup

3.1.6.2.1.     If the Red strip (13) is showing Green and the Server IP and Port at are satisfactory then go to 2.1.6.2.8

3.1.6.2.2.     Click the button (3) until the strip (11) shows Red and the button (3) caption displays Start

3.1.6.2.3.     Click the navigator (1) Edit button

3.1.6.2.4.     Change (2) Server and Port values to the desired settings.

3.1.6.2.5.   Click the button (3) until the strip (11) shows Green and the button (3) caption displays Stop

3.1.6.2.6.   When satisfied with settings Click the navigator (1) Save button

3.1.6.2.7.   Click the navigator (4) Edit button

3.1.6.2.8.   Enter you MedNet supplied Site ID (5)

3.1.6.2.9.   Enter you Organisation ID retrieved from PRODA (6)

3.1.6.2.10.              Select the RS256 option for Key Strength (7)

3.1.6.2.11.              Enter you Activation Code retrieved from PRDOA (9)

3.1.6.2.12.              Click the navigator (4) Save button

3.1.6.2.13.              Click the Generate RSA Key Pair button (9). Box14 will populate with data

3.1.6.2.14.              Click the 0 Activate Device button (10)

3.1.6.2.14.1.     If all is successful, the box (15) will populate with an access token.

*** IMPORTANT *** If errors occur you will be required to rectify the issues before proceeding further

3.1.6.2.15.              Click the Start button (3)

3.1.6.2.16.              The Red strip (13) will change to Green

 

1.1.1.1.1.                    caption displays Stop

1.1.1.1.2.     When satisfied with settings Click the navigator (1) Save button

1.1.1.1.3.     Click the navigator (4) Edit button

1.1.1.1.4.     Enter you MedNet supplied Site ID (5)

1.1.1.1.5.     Enter you Organisation ID retrieved from PRODA (6)

1.1.1.1.6.     Select the RS256 option for Key Strength (7)

1.1.1.1.7.     Enter you Activation Code retrieved from PRDOA (9)

1.1.1.1.8.     Click the navigator (4) Save button

1.1.1.1.9.     Click the Generate RSA Key Pair button (9). Box14 will populate with data

1.1.1.1.10. Click the 0 Activate Device button (10)

1.1.1.1.10.1.        If all is successful, the box (15) will populate with an access token.

*** IMPORTANT *** If errors occur you will be required to rectify the issues before proceeding further

1.1.1.1.11. Click the Start button (3)

1.1.1.1.12. The Red strip (13) will change to Green

 

 

Once all the above has been successfully completed you must restart the computer and then proceed to run Impulse and verify that Impulse is able to process Medicare Online, Eclipse and or AIR transactions
