Updating Medcomms (SMS and Update Manager)

From time to time, MedNet Group may release updates to Medcomms. This article will walk users through the process to run this update.

Medcomms manages SMS creation, sending and responses, as well as Item and MIMS updates. It is important that you update if prompted.

To access Medcomms, simply go to the main menu on the main screen on Impulse and press Wait/App → SMS & AoL Management

If there is an update available, you will be prompted immediately, as picture below

Press YES to download now

Medcomms will automatically download and update the files on your computer. When it has finished, you will get a success message.

Click OK. Medcomms will automatically shut down and restart.

You can now continue to send SMS or run your item or MIMS update.
